Who is responsible for your data

The operator of ClippingCalc and the controller of the personal information described here is Saikyo, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.

For any privacy or legal request, including access, deletion, opting out or removal of a result page, write to support@clipster.gg.

What we collect

What you give us

The only thing you enter is a public TikTok, Instagram or YouTube account handle or profile URL. It does not have to be your own account. We do not ask for a password, we never log in to any account, and there is no sign-up on ClippingCalc.

What we fetch about the account

When you press the button, we fetch public profile data and the public statistics of the account's recent posts (views, dates, captions and hashtags) through TikHub, a third-party social-media data API. Captions and hashtags are used only in memory to detect the content niche (for example gaming or anime). We do not store the captions or the posts.

What we store

For each check we save a record in our database with:

• the platform, handle, profile URL, display name and follower count of the public account;
• the calculated result: number of posts analysed, average views, estimated earnings and average per post;
• the content niches we detected and the top suggested campaign;
• the page of our site where the check was made;
• the visitor's country, as provided to us by our hosting provider's edge network;
• the date and time of the check; and
• whether a button on the result (such as I want to earn) was clicked, and which one.

We do not store IP addresses in our database. The data fetched for a check is also kept in our server's memory for about 30 minutes, so repeat checks are not fetched twice. It is not written to the database.

What our hosting provider logs

Our host, Vercel, processes requests to the site, and its own server logs may include IP addresses and technical details such as browser type. Vercel keeps those logs according to its own policies.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookie we set is a technically necessary login cookie for the site operator's admin area. Visitors do not receive it.

Result pages are public

Each check creates a shareable result page at clippingcalc.com/r/<platform>/<handle>. Anyone with the link can open it, and it shows the estimate for that public account. When the page is viewed, it may refresh the public post statistics of that account (views, dates, captions and hashtags) through TikHub; this data is kept in memory only, as described above, and is not stored. These pages are excluded from search engines (they are marked noindex), but they are publicly accessible.

If you own an account that has a result page and you want it removed, write to support@clipster.gg with the platform and handle and we will take it down.

How we use the data

• To provide the calculator. To fetch the public data, work out the estimate and show you the result.
• To show result pages. To keep a shareable page for each checked account.
• To improve the service and measure usage. To understand how the calculator is used and how many people click the buttons that lead to Clipster.
• To contact creators about campaigns. We run creator campaigns through Clipster. Because of that, we may contact the creators of checked accounts through publicly available business contact channels about paid campaign opportunities. If you do not want to be contacted, or you want us to stop using the data of your account, write to support@clipster.gg and we will stop.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising by third parties.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data for us:

Campaign rates come from Clipster's public campaign list. That list contains campaign terms, not information about you. The site also tells search engines when pages change through IndexNow, which involves page addresses only and no personal data.

No data is sold. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale or other transfer of the business.

How long we keep it

Stored checks are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised. We delete them earlier if you ask. The 30-minute memory cache expires on its own. Logs kept by our service providers follow their own retention periods.

Security

Data is stored with a reputable hosted database provider, access is limited to the site's operators, and connections to the site are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

ClippingCalc is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, write to support@clipster.gg and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights in the United States

Whatever state you live in, you can ask us what we hold about an account, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to remove its result page, or ask us to stop contacting you about campaigns. We honour these requests.

California notice

This section is for California residents. The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA/CPRA), may or may not apply to us, depending on our size and activity. We honour the rights it describes either way.

• Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers (handle, profile URL, display name); internet or other electronic activity (the checks made and button clicks); general location (country); and public profile information and post statistics about the account that was checked, such as follower count and average views. We do not collect precise location or other sensitive personal information.
• Sources: the visitor who runs the check, public profile data from the social platforms obtained through TikHub, and our hosting provider (country).
• Purposes: the purposes described in "How we use the data" above.
• Disclosure: to the service providers listed above, for those purposes.
• Sale and sharing: we do not sell personal information and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
• Your rights: to know what we collect, use and disclose; to delete; to correct; to opt out of sale or sharing (which we do not do); and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not charge different prices or offer a different service level because you used them.

How to make a request. Email support@clipster.gg and tell us the platform and handle the request is about. To protect accounts, we may need to verify that you are the person concerned, for example by asking you to message us from the account or to place a short code we give you in its public bio. You can use an authorised agent, who will need your written permission. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Do Not Track

ClippingCalc does not track visitors across other websites and does not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.

Visitors in the EEA and the UK

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to our handling of your personal information. The controller is Saikyo, LLC, whose details are above.

Purposes and legal bases

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights and interests. We do not rely on consent for anything on this site, because we do not set non-essential cookies.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers process data in the United States and other countries. When personal information is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses and other transfer mechanisms our providers use under the law.

Your rights

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• have inaccurate information corrected;
• have your information erased;
• restrict how we use it;
• object to our use of it, in particular for contacting you about campaigns, which we will then stop;
• receive it in a portable format; and
• complain to your local data protection supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

To use any of these rights, write to support@clipster.gg. We aim to respond within one month.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will say so on this page if a change is significant. How we calculate describes in more detail how the estimates work. Our Terms of Use also apply to the site.
