Rates are campaign terms, not guaranteed earnings. Rows marked small sample rest on fewer than 5 campaigns, so one new or ended campaign can move them a lot. Read them as indicative, not as a market rate.
How rates are distributed
Share of the 101 live campaigns paying on TikTok in each rate band, per 1M views.
Top niches by live campaigns
60 of 104 live campaigns name at least one niche; the rest accept any content. A campaign can list several niches, so the shares do not add up to 100%.

How this index is calculated
The index covers every public campaign that is live right now, taken from a feed that is refreshed every 3 hours. Ended, private and Discord-exclusive campaigns are left out. Each campaign states a rate per 1,000 views for every platform it pays on; we multiply by 1,000 to show it per 1M views. Averages and medians are taken per platform over the campaigns that pay on it, and typical caps and minimum views are medians.

Frequently asked questions
How much do clipping campaigns pay per 1M views?
As of October 2026, the average live campaign pays $1,019 per 1M TikTok views (median $1,000), based on 101 campaigns paying on TikTok. Rates run from $80 to $3,000 per 1M views. By type: music $1,253, clipping $934, logo $341 and UGC $925. Averages for UGC (2) rest on fewer than 5 campaigns each, so treat them as indicative.
How much is that per 1,000 views?
Campaign rates are quoted per 1M views, so divide by 1,000. The average of $1,019 per 1M views is $1.02 per 1,000 views, and a post with 100,000 views at that rate earns about $102 before the per-post cap. Many campaigns also pay nothing until a post reaches a minimum view count, which is 2,000 views for the median campaign.
What do music campaigns pay on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts?
Live music campaigns pay an average of $1,253 per 1M views on TikTok (55 campaigns), $1,250 per 1M views on Instagram Reels (10 campaigns) and $1,313 per 1M views on YouTube Shorts (8 campaigns). The median music campaign caps earnings at $450 per post.
Why do rates differ between campaign types?
Every campaign sets its own rate, per-post cap and minimum views, and the type of work changes all three. Logo campaigns, where you add a brand logo to content, average $341 per 1M TikTok views against $1,253 for music edits and $934 for clipping. The table above shows the average, median and range per type and platform, so you can compare like with like.
How often is the Clipping Rates Index updated, and where does the data come from?
The campaign list is refreshed every 3 hours and this page is regenerated on the same schedule; the latest data is from Oct 23, 2026. It covers public campaigns that are live right now, so ended and private campaigns are excluded. The figures are campaign terms, not guaranteed earnings.
